Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Upon completion of this UE, the student will be able to:
- Understand and apply evidence-based practices in clinical orthopedagogy
- Identify the guidelines for conducting a clinical interview in the context of clinical orthopedagogy and more specifically with people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Understand the different stages of clinical interviews and the basic principles underlying these stages, with particular reference to people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Use role-play to apply the guidelines and principles for conducting a clinical interview in the context of clinical orthopedagogy, and more specifically with people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Describe the concepts and methods underlying assessment and diagnosis in clinical orthopedagogy
- Apply the psychometric and clinical tools underlying assessment and diagnosis in clinical orthopedagogy
- Interpret the data derived from the application of these clinical tools and methods in order to make an orthopedic diagnosis
-Understand interprofessional dynamics and develop a professional posture that supports multidisciplinary collaboration
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Through theoretical courses and practical exercises, this course will approach the methodologies linked to assessment, conceptualisation and integrated clinical reasoning in clinical orthopaedagogy, and the psychometric and clinical tools used for these steps.
