Learning Outcomes of UE
To understand what multi-family and multi-dimensional therapy is;
Discover scientific studies (process & outcome) that demonstrate the effectiveness of this therapy ;
Elaborate a clinical indication;
Managing the implementation of such a therapy
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Multifamily therapy involves bringing together several families - usually three to seven - around a pathology or problem in order to create a therapeutic framework.
This modality combines multiple approaches drawn from group and family therapy, as well as psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral practices.
The illustration of clinical situations will allow us to explore how to establish the indication of a multifamily and multidimensional therapy and how to manage this type of multidisciplinary device.
