• Acquire, understand and use knowledge in the fields of biology and other fields
• Understand and use mathematical tools and basic statistics to describe and understand biological concepts
• Demonstrate an understanding of the general principles of life to understand questions and solve situations related to biology

• Have developed practical skills in the various fields of biology through practical sessions in the laboratory and in the field, during which they have worked individually or in groups

Learning Outcomes of UE

The course covers the basics of ethology necessary for any biologist to understand animal behavior.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The ethology course is part of basic bachelor's training in biological sciences, whatever the student's future orientation.

Teaching is given in French.

Prior Experience

The course is aimed at students with basic notions of biology and certain chapters may involve notions of statistics and probability.
