Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Understand the fundamentals
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of physics and of the role of models and theories.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mathematics suitable for the study of physics, and be able to use this mathematics in applications in the field of physics
- Provide clear and accurate information
- Communicate complex information to a qualified scientific partner
- Grow personally and professionally
- Have developed generic skills that are applicable in other contexts, especially a basic knowledge of chemistry, the use of the English language and understanding programming techniques

Learning Outcomes of UE
Acquisition of a general culture of physics through several subjects of physics of fundamental interactions and materials science in fields related to the research activities of the teachers of the Department of Physics or possibly external.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
The titles of the 12 seminars will be indicated at the beginning of Q2 according to the participating teachers. All students are required to attend all seminars.

| S-PHYS-029 | A list of topics for the "Seminars in Physics" exam will be posted online in the ad hoc section of the course on Moodle. You will find also there the documents useful for some of these subjects. We ask that you send to the coordinator a single summary list of who will present which topic for a date that will be communicated to you. If we don't have this list in time, we will impose the subjects. The exam will take place as follows: A 10-minute individual presentation + about 5 minutes of questions. This presentation can be planned on a whiteboard or with a slide-type support (PowerPoint or equivalent) at your convenience. The date of the exam and the order of appearance will be communicated to you afterwards. We ask that you attend all the presentations of all your classmates. |
