Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

• Have acquired highly specialised and integrated knowledge and broad skills in the various disciplines of computer science, which come after those within the Bachelor's in computer science.
• Carry out development or innovation projects in IT.
• Apply, mobilise, articulate and promote the knowledge and skills acquired in order to contribute to the achievement of a development or innovation project.

Learning Outcomes of UE

The goal of the course is to give an overview of what software engineering is. The course is not focused on a specific methodology but presents a wide range of methods that support the development of software. The advantages and disadvantages of each of these methods will be presented and discussed in order to provide the necessary background to choose and deepen the most suitable method for a given project.
The Agile methods and especially scrum are presented more in depth in the course.
 

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The course is given ex-cathedra while encouraging interaction with the students. These interactions aim at exchanging experiences illustrating the topics covered in the course.
