Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand language of instruction and foreign languages (language skills)
    • Use French perfectly in a variety of non-technical situations, both orally and in writing
    • Understand, reformulate and summarise documents and presentations, in French, on various topics written by experts, including those related to current affairs
    • Communicate easily and adequately, in both selected foreign languages, at a minimum level of B2 in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, students will be able to: - understand a French speech on a current affairs or a general interest topic, and be able to pick up on the structure after hearing the speech for the first time; - reformulate the speech in correct, natural Italian, avoiding literal translations.

Use and perfectioning of oral skills in the foreign/native language.  Application of memory techniques, and other techniques related to note-taking, deverbalisation and reformulation.
