Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the learning module, students will be able to
- identify and understand the main theories of gender
- identify queer littératures and their authors
- understand the socio-political differences between the different areas studied and their impact on the reception of queer literature
- situate queer literature in a geopolitical context
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
- Introduction to gender studies and their application in the field of literature
- Brief introduction to literary theory
- Socio-political and historical context of queer literature (taking into account cultural and religious aspects)
- Presentation and analysis of texts by authors from this cultural area
- Analysis of queer languages (camp style)
