Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Cultural and Intercultural Competency - Utilise intercultural knowledge in order to understand, analyse, and contextualise in the practice of translation.
- Be familiar with the political, social and cultural environment of the working language and the chosen foreign languages, as well as a sustained effort to keep abreast of all new developments in those areas.
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this course, students shall be able to know the specificities of Japanese history and civilization from the beginning up to the present. They shall also have profound notions of the history of Japan's international relations. On demand of the students, some topics can be further developed (literature, traditional arts, manga, etc.).
